BHI receives honors from the American College of Health Care Administrators
Founded in 1962, The American College of Health Care Administrators (ACHCA) is a non-profit professional membership association that provides superior educational programming, networking, and career development opportunities for its members.
Guided by the vision that dynamic leadership fosters long-term healthcare services that are meaningful, successful, and efficient, ACHCA identifies, recognizes, and supports post-acute and aging services leaders, advocating for their mission and promoting excellence in their profession.
Each year, the ACHCA presents awards to recognize individuals with demonstrated contributions and exceptional commitment to the field of post-acute and aging services leadership. The Awards Subcommittee ensures that all ACHCA awards have objective eligibility criteria and follow a fair, credible process.
BHI is honored to announce the receipt of two ACHCA awards for 2023. Leah Jeffries, HFA, LNHA, QMCP, received the New Assisted Living Administrator Award. For over six years, Leah has served BHI in various capacities. Currently, she is the Associate Executive Director at Hoosier Village Retirement Community.
BHI Senior Living was also recognized with the Champion Award. For over 50 years, BHI has taken great pride in providing exceptional care and quality of life for those we serve, and recognition of our work from the ACHCA is humbling.
